Message from the Founder President
"Human dignity is the foundation of all human rights."
Dear Friends and Supporters,
When I founded Popular Human Rights Centre Bangladesh in 2006, I envisioned an organization that would stand as a beacon of hope for the marginalized and oppressed. Over the past decade, I have witnessed both heartbreaking violations and heartwarming triumphs in our journey toward justice.
Our work is guided by a simple yet profound belief: every individual, regardless of their background, deserves to live with dignity, freedom, and equal opportunity. In Bangladesh, we face unique challenges - from gender-based violence to labor rights violations, from freedom of expression concerns to discrimination against minorities.
What gives me hope is the resilience of the human spirit and the dedication of our team. We have successfully represented hundreds of cases, trained thousands of individuals, and influenced policy changes that will protect millions.
As we move forward, we remain committed to our core values of justice, integrity, and compassion. I invite you to join us in this journey - whether as a volunteer, donor, or advocate, your support makes a real difference.
Together, we can build a Bangladesh where human rights are not just protected on paper, but lived in reality.

Message from the Senior Vice President
"Justice delayed is justice denied, but justice pursued is justice achieved."
Dear Colleagues and Partners,
Serving as Senior Vice President of Popular Human Rights Centre Bangladesh has been both a privilege and a profound responsibility. For over 15 years, I have worked in the field of human rights, and I continue to be inspired by the courage of those who fight for their rights against all odds.
Our approach at HRC Bangladesh is comprehensive - we don't just address symptoms but work to transform systems. Through our legal aid programs, we provide immediate relief to victims. Through our education initiatives, we prevent future violations. And through our policy advocacy, we create lasting change.
I am particularly proud of our work in rural communities, where access to justice is often limited. Our mobile legal clinics have brought hope to thousands who previously had nowhere to turn.
The road ahead is challenging, but with your support and our team's dedication, I am confident we will continue to make significant strides in protecting human rights across Bangladesh.
Let us continue to stand together for justice, equality, and human dignity.
Senior Vice President
Our Collective Vision
"United in purpose, diverse in expertise, unwavering in commitment."
As the executive leadership team of Popular Human Rights Centre Bangladesh, we stand united in our commitment to protecting and promoting human rights across our nation. Each of us brings unique skills and perspectives, but we share a common goal: to create a Bangladesh where every person can live with dignity, freedom, and equality.
Our work spans from the courtrooms to rural communities, from policy chambers to grassroots movements. We believe in the power of collaboration - with government agencies, international partners, civil society organizations, and most importantly, with the communities we serve.
In the coming years, we will expand our reach, deepen our impact, and continue to innovate in our approach to human rights protection. We will leverage technology to reach more people, strengthen our research to better understand emerging challenges, and build partnerships to create lasting systemic change.
We invite you to join us in this important work. Together, we can build a future where human rights are not just ideals, but lived realities for all Bangladeshis.
